In the Paggaio Mountain there were detected 2 aqueducts, constructed in the 4th century BC. The south aqueduct with pipes of length 20 km, was starting from the main tap Manna, adjacent to the abandoned settlement Platanopoulos at 500m altitude. The North aqueduct, with a total pipes’ length of 14 km, it lays 5 km Northeast of Lakkovikia, at Gournes on the south Paggaio and at altitude 770 m. It is worth mentioning that some parts especially in the middle of the pipes’ route are preserved in perfect condition.
